For Wineries

Art of Email Marketing Award.

And the winners are . . .

The Art of Email Marketing Award was created to recognize wineries that were using email marketing effectively to further their direct to consumer goals.

The award came about as a result of my exhaustive research into winery email practices.

In subscribing to over 694 winery newsletters I was able to quickly identify which wineries were using best practices and getting the best results.

The winners of the award will receive an original piece of abstract art commissioned from abstract artist Debi Grupe.

Debi's work is found in collector's homes around the world and is currently exhibited in a show in Kuwait.

Each art piece is valued at $1,400 and is acrylic on board, framed, and 12" x 18" in size.  As you can see from the images to the right they look fantastic.

The winners are listed in the column to the right with information about their site.

"Each of the winners demonstrated top flight skills at using email marketing.

I read many of their emails and evaluated them against 694 of their peers.

To say that these guys are good is an understatement.

Some of the winners wrote very strong copy, some had powerful design, some had a very personal touch and all sent email with the appropriate frequency.

Congratulations to the five winners."
